Numerical experiments on energetic particle scattering in pitch angle

Description
Computer experiments are performed on the pitch angle scattering of particles in a modulated sine-wave magnetic field, a field consisting of Gaussian fluctuations perpendicular to the mean field and a field where the perpendicular fluctuations are derived form spacecraft data. Results are compared with quasi-linear, adiabatic theory. (orig.)

Computerexperimente ueber die Streuung des Neigungswinkels von Teilchen werden fuer folgende Magnetfelder durchgefuehrt: ein sinusfoermig moduliertes Magnetfeld, ein Feld mit Gausschen Fluktuationen senkrecht zum mittleren Feld und ein Magnetfeld, bei dem die senkrechten Fluktuationen aus Satellitendaten genommen wurden.
