Description

In order to follow developments in technology, it is necessary to do research and development based on high temperature gas cooled reactor. Within this framework it developed the High Temperature Test Loop Reactor (UURTT) which is a simulator installation of high temperature gas cooled reactor. The design of the heater of UURTT done using program Catia version 5R-16 and Auto Cad 2010. Heating system consists of a pair of rectangular shaped heater insulating fire brick size 65 x 115 x 75 mm were 24 pieces, open coil heater coil wire diameter of 14 mm, mounted vertically elongated and has one point (one open coil heater) is installed in series. Power to one side of the open coil heater is 3.32 kW, so that power for the two sides is 6.64 kW. Results of temperature measurement at the time of commissioning and UURTT wrapped with glass wool can produce temperature of 735.10 °C. (author)
