Description

The following report describes the test facility of GKSS for a decay heat removal pump. In this facility the cavitation behaviour of an original decay-heat removal pump (Type BIBLIS B) under loss-of-coolant accident conditions will be studied. This report presents the mechanical details of the test loop and the pump including all auxiliary systems and shows the operational and design data of the facility. (orig./RW)

Abstract (German)

Im folgenden Bericht wird der Nachkuehlpumpen-Versuchsstand der GKSS in seiner ersten Aufbauphase beschrieben. Am Versuchsstand soll das Kavitationsverhalten einer Original-Nachkuehlpumpe (Typ BIBLIS B) unter stoerfallaehnlichen Bedingungen ermittelt werden. Es werden hier die maschinenbaulichen Details des Versuchskreislaufes und der Pumpe einschliesslich der Hilfsaggregate sowie die Betriebs- und Auslegungsdaten der Anlage mitgeteilt. (orig.)
