Dynamics of double-charged cations exchange in fluorine-containing solutions on phosphoric-acid cation exchanger

Description

Pecularities of sorption dynamics of double-charged cations Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ on PAC-12 cationite in fluorine-containing solutions are studied, quantitative description of this process is presented. It is shown that the front width value at high filtration rates tends to stabilization. It follows from the above that it is more advisable to carry out sorption process at high filtration rates of initial solutions within the rate range whereby external diffusion presents a limiting factor and increase in flow rates gives rise to external diffusion constant. It is shown that the Ratchinskij theoretical equations may be applied for description of metal cation sorption from solutions of their fluorine saults under dynamic conditions
