Efficiency indices for radiography of welded joints - defect detectability, , information capacity and cost of testing - are discussed. Results of investigations, related to the development of statistical models, used for the a assessment of the efficiency of different types of radiographic testing of welded joints are reviewed. Recommendations on advisability and scales of test application are given
