Comportment of the world photovoltaic market

In this paper, we purpose to determine the world production of photovoltaic modules over the last decade. From 1987 to 1988, we note an increase of 23% and the world production reaches 35.2 M W p, it was the first real progress since 1983. This increase is due to a renewed on the renewable energies, caused by environment problems. Then, in view of the study of the development of photovoltaic in the world and of the behaviour of the most important countries, we realised analysis of the production. Using the time state of the market and perspectives study, we give some forecast for the next decade. (author)
