Calculation of pair production by 20 MeV photons

Description

We present in this communication the results of our calculation of the electron-positron pair production in the field of point Coulomb potential in distorted wave Born approximation by 20.0 MeV photons on Z = 1, 30, 50, 68 and 92. The calculated cross-sections are compared with the results of existing interpolated formulas, DWBA calculation of Wright et al., Borie and interpolated experimental data. We also discuss the discrepancy observed between the theoretical and experimental results
