Neutrino oscillations, neutrinoless double beta decay

Creators

Description

The experimental evidence for neutrino mixing and neutrino mass are reviewed. Searches for possible branches into heavy neutrinos do not reveal evidence for static mixing with branching ratios larger than 10-4 to 10-6. Similarly, neutrino oscillation experiments show no evidence for dynamic mixing in various oscillation channels. Stringent limits for anti-nu/sub e/ disappearance from a recent reactor experiment are presented. Results from neutrinoless double beta decay provide sensitive test for Majorana mass and right-hand couplings, the present limits being 3-10 eV and 10-5, respectively
