Description
We consider supersymmetric unification based on the gauge symmetry SU(3)C x SU(3)L x SU(3)R supplemented by an anomalous U(1)A gauge symmetry. Fermion masses and mixings consistent with experiments are realized, including large mixings in the neutrino sector. We also consider the supersymmetric flavor problem, gauge coupling unification and proton decay. The dominant proton decay mode is predicted to be p→e+π0, and the lifetime is estimated to be ∼1034-1035 years. (author)
