Increase of the electron density in the upper auroral ionosphere observed by the spacecraft 'Prognoz-5'

The regions of increased electron densities in the upper ionosphere and magnetosphere are fixed by the spectrum analyser installed on board of the spacecraft 'Prognoz-5' and observed the radiation of plasma waves. The occurrence of these regions is associated mainly with the ionospheric electron jet appeared under the action of ultraviolet solar radio emission
