Description
137Cs sorption capacity of the hydrothermal gel close to mineral fluorine-mica K Mg3(Si3AlO10)F2 has been investigated by tracer technique at room temperature. The gel has shown remarkable capacity to pickup 137Cs from 0.0002 N aqueous decontamination factor (Df) and selectivity coefficient (Kd). For a 0.0002 N cesium solution the Df has been found to be 90.68 and Kd = 973 g-1. (author). 9 refs., 1 tab
