Adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals

  • 1. Middlesex Hospital, London (UK). Inst. of Nuclear Medicine

Description

A few months ago the British Institute of Radiology circulated informally to known users of radiopharmaceuticals in the United Kingdom, a questionnaire relating to adverse reactions in patients. I have been asked to examine the reports and I would like to thank all those who have so helpfully responded. So far 26 reports of such reactions have been received, some of these referring to a series of patients, but most dealing in detail with a specific incident.
