Description
For catching the isotope of the needed concentration, it is necessary to understand the separation mechanism of the multicomponent isotopic mixture inside the cascade. In case of small separation factors per stage, the relationship between mass of ith isotope and the average mass of isotopes at the place where ith isotope reaches its maximum concentration inside a separation cascade has been obtained. The separation unit of the cascade has also been analysed. The conclusion is that in the process of multicomponent isotopic mixture separation in a cascade, when the concentration reaches maximum, its mass is equal to the average mass (slightly deviating). Although the result is obtained under the condition of small separation factors, it is useful for reference in case of large separation factors
