Description

Results are presented of an experimental and theoretical determination of vibration properties of a model of the hollow spheric bottom of the supporting cylinder of the PWR reactor, in air as well as in still water medium. The results are presented of an experimental study of the replacement of seating of the spheric bottom edge, and of the measurement and calculation of the frequency spectrum of the model for vibration in the axisymmetric modes, including the approximate values of the damping coefficient. The results have been discussed and compared with results obtained theoretically. (author)
