Description
Interest in passive reactor shutdown system for FBR has been growing with scaling up of FBR in future. From this point of view, the Self-Actuated Shutdown System (SASS) with Curie Point Electromagnet (CPEM) has been studied to apply for the future large scale FBRs. Various tests on the CPEM have been carried out to investigate the feasibility. The test and the analysis results of the response tests on the CPEM under the simulated Unprotected Loss of Flow phenomena are reported in this paper including other fundamental studies. (author)
