Description
Progress is reported for studies on the distribution of long-lived transuranic nuclides and 137Cs introduced into the Great Lakes by fallout deposits or in radioactive effluents from nuclear facilities. Emphasis is placed on the content of 137Cs, 241Am, 239Pu, 240Pu, and 244Cm in plankton, fish, and sediments sampled in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario during 1975 and 1976
