High temperature heating system of the tokamak discharge chamber

Description

The on-line control system for heating of the TM-4A tokamak discharge chamber is described. Control of induction and ohmic heating sources is realized by stages in conformity with the specified heating program. The system is equiped with control device which enables to determine the location and cause of a failure in case of protective switching off. The system provides for the possibility of operating heating sources switching off in case of pressure increase in the discharge chamber over the permissible value and switching on in case of pressure decrease up to minimum value. The tests have shown perfect performance of the system
