Description

Beginning with modes of application and proven advantages of DSA the progress of techniques in 1986 is described. Based on experience with more than 10000 examinations the advantages and disadvantages of i.v. and i.a. application, side effects and complications as well as radiation exposure are mentioned. Then the indications in the different vessel provinces and disease states. Finally, economic considerations and the use of DSA versus conventional angiography are discussed. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Einleitend werden die Applikationsweisen und die erwiesenen Vorteile der DSA behandelt sowie die technischen Fortschritte 1986. Aufgrund der Ergebnisse von ueber 10000 Untersuchungen werden die Vor- und Nachteile von i.v. und i.a. Anwendung, die Nebenwirkungen ebenso wie die Strahlenbelastung beschrieben, sodann die Indikationen in den verschiedenen Gefaessgebieten und Krankheitsstadien. Abschliessend folgen Wirtschaftlichkeitserwaegungen und Diskussion der Anwendung von DSA und konventioneller Angiographie. (orig.)
