Breaking of supersymmetry and intermediate symmetry in the SO(10) superunification theory
Description
An SO(10) superunification model is proposed, where the supersymmetry and an intermediate symmetry SU(3)/sub c/ x U(1) x SU(2)/sub L/ x SU(2)/sub R/ are broken simultaneously with a single scale parameter μ. Taking account of the radiative corrections to the vacuum energy allows one unambiguously to obtain a physically acceptable scheme for breaking of SO(10) and the intermediate symmetry down to the standard group SU(3)/sub c/ x SU(2)/sub L/ x U(1)/sub Y/. Values of the breaking parameter μ--1011--1012 GeV are in accord with the experimental value of the Weinberg angle
