Description
The study of the partitioning and transmutation of minor-actinides (MA) are of great value on future nuclear fuel cycle. We have been studying neutronic characteristics of MA transmutation in a metallic fuel FBR and material characteristics of MA contained fuel. In the present study, we analyzed 1) the reactivity temperature coefficient and the reactivity feedback behaviour under the anticipated transient without scram (ATWS) with simple asymptotic method, and we measured 2) the properties of MA contained fuel such as phase stability under the cooperation of CRIEPI and JRC-Karlsruhe.
