Description

• The renaissance in nuclear power programs in Africa including Kenya has ramifications for proliferation. • A critical challenge is placed on the classical (radiochemical, radiometric) techniques with regard to nuclear forensics tasks that demand direct rapid analysis of proliferation materials. • We demonstrate the leveraging of machine learning of microphotonics to advance the state-of-the-art nuclear forensics measurements essential to nuclear safeguards and security.
