90Sr in man bone tissue
Creators
Description
90Sr administration, buildup and distribution in various bones of human skeleton are studied. 90Sr exchange rate changes with the age of people. Presented are the data which permit to reveal the oeculiarities of 90Sr distribution and to establish the dynamics of time variations of 90Sr content in separate bones. Maximum 90Sr concentrations in trabeculation tissues occurred in 1963, while 90Sr concentration in cortical bones reached the highest values in 1966. Results of investigations which characterize mean values of 90Sr concentrations in the bone tissue of various age groups of urban population from 1959 to 1975, are presented. Considered are zonal peculiarities of 90Sr buildup and constantly occurring factors which lie in the foundation of zonal peculiarities. Alongside with the general reduction in the levels of 90Sr content in all contingents of population correlations between 90Sr concentrations in people of different age groups have noticeably changed due to the increase of 90Sr administration
