Changing of depending on current during electrolysis of KCl-K2ZrF6 and NaCl-K2ZrF6 melts
Description
Durable electrolysis of KCl-K2ZrF6 and NaCl-K2ZrF6 melts with multiple adjustment of working electrolyte is carried out for determination of depending on current on ([F-]/[Zr4+])(n) ratio. It is shown that depending on current on the [F-]/[Zr4+] ratio is straight-line and satisfactory described by eta=116.4-3.9 n equation during electrolysis of the NaCl-K2ZrF6 melt. It is shown that approximately 40% of Zr is contained in the layer of deposition, adjoining directly to cathode substrate, that exceeds medium content of the metal in the cathode product in approximately 2 times
