Description
For the reliability analysis of redundant systems, we point out the necessity of a system operational modeling, in order to take into account the operating life of the system and the systems interacting with the studied system; this is especially true when redundancy consumption has an effect on interface systems redundancy. Our method uses undistinctly Markov's State Graphs or Petri Networks, coupled with fault trees. Our method is applied to the SPIN system
