After a metrological discussion of the calibration factor, time and space resolution, and image aberrations of measuring systems, it is shown, how a highly efficient, versatile, and user-friendly instrument for natural and man-made beta-emitters in air and in powders must be designed, was built and has proven its qualities. Nach einer metrologischen Eroerterung zum Kalibrierfaktor, der zeitlichen un raeumlichen Aufloesung und zu Abbildungsfehlern von Messsystemen, wird gezeigt, wie ein hocheffizientes, vielseitiges und verstaendliches Messgeraet fuer natuerliche und kuenstliche Betastrahler in Luft und in Pulvern aufgebaut sein muss, gebaut wurde und seine Vorzuege bestaetigt hat.
