Stereochemistry of erbium(3) and thulium(3) monotartrates in aqueous solution

Description
The stereochemistry of the erbium(3) and thulium(3) monotartrates of the LnH2L+ (Ln = Er3+, Tm3+; H4L - tartratic acid) composition is studied in aqueous solution through the method of paramagnetic two-beam refraction in combination with molecular mechanics and the paramagnetic anisotropy of the Er3+, Tm3+ ions is evaluated. It is shown, that conformations, wherein the structure of the ion-complex former represents a three-cap trigonal prism, are most probable for the erbium(3) and thulium(3) monotartrates in aqueous solution
Abstract (Russian)
Методом парамагнитного двулучепреломления в сочетании с молекулярной механикой изучена стереохимия монотартратов эрбия(3) и тулия(3) состава LnH2L+ (Ln = Er3+, Tm3+; H4L - винная кислота) в водном растворе и оценена парамагнитная анизотропия ионов Er3+, Tm3+. Показано, что для монотартратов эрбия(3) и тулия(3) в водном растворе наиболее вероятны конформации, в которых структура иона-комплексообразователя представляет собой трехшапочную тригональную призмуAdditional details
