Optimization of main equipment PSI in Fangjiashan NPP
Description
Pre-service inspection (PSI) shall be performed for all equipment of the main coolant system before fuel loading, the period of PSI is always scheduled after main system hydraulic test. According to the condition of installation and commissioning for Fangjiashan NPP project, by analysis and comparison of code, the relationship between main equipment PSI and main system hydraulic test was studied, PSI schedule was optimized creatively instead of the previous concept and mode, this proposal of PSI optimization was approved by NNSA. The main equipment PSI completed by using optimized schedule that ensured the completion of main system hydraulic test and shorten the whole PSI time. The optimization of main equipment PSI achieves all the goal. (author)
