Semileptonic decays of charmed mesons in the effective chiral Lagrangian method
Description
The effective chiral Lagrangian which is the extension of Bars, Halpern and Yoshimura model to [SU(4) x SU(4)] x [SU(2) x U(1)] is constructed, and some physical constants are predicted; F sub(D) and F sub(F) are 1.12F sub(π) and 1.34F sub(π) respectively, and m sub(D sub(A)) = 2.28 GeV, m sub(F sub(A)) = 2.45 GeV. The form factors of D → K(K*, K sub(A))eν and F → eta sub(s)(phi, phi sub(A))eν decays are calculated in tree diagrams and final electron energy spectra are satisfactorily fitted to the e+e- → e+-X data at DESY.
