On high-energy pion scattering by few-nucleon nuclei

Description
The information on the pion-neutron interaction is obtained from experiments on high-energy charged pion scattering by protons and deuterons using the diffractional approximation. The results obtained are then used to calculate the cross-sections of pion three-nucleon nuclei interaction. The importance of taking into account the multiple and, above all, double scattering, study the nuclear structure is shown as exemplified by two- and three- nucleon nuclei
