On early prognostic symptoms in X-ray diagnosis of scoliosis

Description
Roentgenological dynamic examination of 75 children, suffering from scoliosis was conducted. It was revealed, that Movshovich and Kon progressing symptoms occur rarely at early stages of scoliosis; their frequency increases with growth of scoliosis degree. Risser test can be used as certain criterion of forecasting, but not progressing, because it is available in all children without exception. The prognostic role of Mehta characteristic was not supported
