Adaptive system for microphonic noise suppression in microcalorimetric detector signal

  • 1. INFN, Genova (Italy). Dipartimento di Fisica

Description

We describe a method of digital processing of the signal of cryogenic detectors using an adaptive system in order to reduce the microphonic noise. This method removes the microphonic noise components from the detector signal, minimising the power of the difference between the acquired and the reference signals. A comparison of the performances of the adaptive system and a conventional matched filter is presented. (orig.)
