Dosage du plutonium en solution nitrique ou perchlorique, applicable en présence de nombreux cations, pour des concentrations en plutonium comprises entre 5·10⁻³ et 5 g/L. Oxydation du plutonium à l'état Pu(VI) par l'oxyde argentique. Mesure de la hauteur du pic d'absorption optique à la longueur d'onde de 831 nm.
