Measures for reduction of radiation exposure at Higashidori Nuclear Power Station
Description
We have adopted various countermeasures for worker dose reduction to Higashidori Nuclear Power Station from its early stage of construction. As a result, we have achieved low level of dose rate for primary recirculation piping and lowest level of outage cumulative worker dose compared to the average doses of Japanese BWRs. In this paper, we mainly describe water chemistry control which has played a key role in countermeasures for worker dose reduction of Higashidori NPS. (author)
