Description
TRIBO is a new computer code which allows to determine the properties of ion-optical systems for intense ion beams in which high-order effects of external as well as of space-charge forces must be taken into account. TRIBO is based on the numerical solution of the equations of motion in external and internal fields, where the internal fields are calculated from two- and three-dimensional space-charge distributions described by the Gaussian Assignment Algorithm. Using the method of differential algebra, transfer matrices of arbitrary order are calculated
