Isoscalar collective excitations in heavy nuclei with a neutron halo
Creators
Description
Simple analytic expressions are obtained for the energies, transition densities, reduced transition probabilities, oscillation amplitudes, mass and stiffness parameters, and model-independent energy-weighted sum rules for isoscalar collective density excitations in heavy nuclei with a neutron halo in the framework of the hydrodynamic model. The neutron halo leads to low-energy isoscalar excitations. 12 refs., 10 figs., 1 tab
