Summarizing, the invention provides the following: A waste disposal package with an inner or primary drum which receives the dangerous and/or radioactive waste. The primary drum is encased in an exterior or secondary barrier, which consists of a porous ceramic material for the control of penetration of water into the drum and for the control of the release rate of the wastes in case of breaking of the drum. Zusammenfassend sieht die Erfindung folgendes vor: Eine Abfallbeseitigungspackung mit einem inneren oder primaeren Kanister zum Enthalt gefaehrlicher und/oder radioaktiven Abfalls. Der Primaerkanister ist durch eine aeussere oder sekundaere Barriere eingekapselt, und zwar gebildet durch ein proroeses Keramikmaterial zur Steuerung des Eintritts von Wasser in den Kanister und zur Steuerung der Freigaberate der Abfaelle beim Bruch des Kanisters.
