On the presence of the peak IV in the TL and PTTL glow curves of heavily annealed LiF TLD-100

Description
The paper presents some experimental results for LiF that could render doubtful a recent proposal about the presence of the peak IV in the thermoluminescent (TL) and PTTL (photo-transfer thermoluminescence) glow curves of TLD-100 annealed at 1500C for 23 h. A possible explanation is given for the origin of the glow peaks created by this thermal treatment. (author)
