Description
The hyperfine interactions of an isolated nitrogen impurity center in rutile TiO2 was studied by means of the beta nuclear magnetic resonance (β-NMR) and the negative muon spin rotation (μ-SR) techniques, which are unique methods for the direct observation of microscopic characteristics of impurities with extremely high sensitivity. Recent studies and progress are reported. (author)
