Intermediate mass distribution of dual resonance Pomeron

Description

The intermediate mass distribution of the dual resonance Pomeron is determined at one loop level and it is shown that the obtained mass distribution is remarkably similar to a suitably defined mass distribution in the dual multiperipheral model. Thus it is suggestive to identify the intermediate state of the dual resonance Pomeron with multiperipheral processes. (author)
