Nonsteady turbulent MHD flows in plane channels and circular tubes
Creators
Description
The MHD flow investigated assumes that the walls of the channel are impervious and that all the average characteristics of the flow depend only on the transverse coordinate x in correspondence with the equation of continuity, and equations of motion derived for turbulent electrically conducting media. Neglecting Hall effect, a system of equations is derived for determining the components of the average velocity field. 4 refs
