Space charge effect on resonance extraction of electrons from a storage ring

Effect of ion space charge on electron slow extraction from a storage-stretcher ring is studied analytically. Formulae for angle deviation and value for arbitrary order resonance of radial betatron oscillations dump behinde septum are obtained. It is shown that it is necessary to take measures to reduce density of compensating ion background concerning low-and mean energy facilities designed to acquire precision parameters of the extracted beam
