Rhenium(V) gluconate as precursor for preparation of rhenium complexes
Description
Preparation of oxotechnetium(V) complexes is conveniently based on ligand exchange reaction on reactive Tc(V) precursors for instance, Tc gluconate. It was tried to make, available the corresponding rhenium gluconate for synthesis of rhenium(V) complexes. Preparation of Re(V) gluconate is somewhat more complicated then preparation of Tc gluconate because perrhenate is less reducible than the pertechnetate ion. The preparation of Re(V) gluconate solution is described and subsequent exchange reactions with carried out benzenethiol and mercaptoacetyldiglycine (MAG2) as typical representatives of sulphur donor ligands are carried out.
