Operational life extension of the units 5 and 6 of the Kozloduy NPP
Description
An investment project for implementation of the Program to prepare the units 5 and 6 during the period 2014-2016 has started. The business plan of Kozloduy NPP provides appropriate funds and financial resources to ensure implementation of the project. The schedule prepared to the Terms of Reference includes Conducting of a periodic safety review (PSR) and preparation of safety analysis report (SAR) for each of the units. An IAEA SALTO mission will be conducted to confirm the readiness for a long-term operation of units 5 and 6.
