Ca2Ta2O7 polymorphism

Description
Using the methods of X-ray diffraction, existence of low- temperature (900-1100 deg C) polymorphous modification of Ca2Ta2O7 with laminated perovskite-type structure is established. Transition of the low-temperature modification of Ca2Ta2O7 into a high-temperature one with the structure of distorted pyrochlore is of irreversible character
