Computerized optimization of radioimmunoassays

  • 1. Universite de Franche-Comte, Besancon (France)

Description

Optimization of simultaneous (one step) assay is based on the mass action law and response error study. Ligand binding system characteristics are obtained by Scatchard plot and by measure of the specific activity of the labelled ligand. Response curves and their confidence limits are then calculated by the computer for various assay conditions. Optimal composition of the reagent mixture is selected using a quality factor. The reliability of the method has been experimentally verified
