Collisions of ions with dipole molecules
Description
This paper presents an analytic expression for the capture rate coefficient in the limit of large dipole moments taking the adiabatic invariants of the motion into account. A comparison is made with the results of other studies. The resulting expressions are used to find the reaction rates for ion-molecule reactions and the mobility of ions in polar gases
