Tunable cyclic X-ray monochromators

Tunable cyclic four block monochromators with intersecting trajectories and symmetric and asymmetric reflections are considered. The degrees of monochromatization and collimation of beams formed in silicon monochromators after different numbers of cycles are calculated. The tunable cyclic silicon monochromators were constructed and the results of experiments carried out with their help well agreed with calculations. 10 refs
