A view to Finnish production of electricity
Creators
Description
The Finnish Parliament made a negative decision concerning the fifth nuclear power unit. However, according to the author it is not possible to plan the future of electricity production without the nuclear opportunity. To fill the need until to the end of century should be economically done by coal plants. The other possibilities to fill the gap of 1500 MW seems not be practical. The decisions been made are giving about 500 MW's new capacity, if we include also outtaking of old plants to the prognoses. The article is giving trends as a basis of the prognoses. (orig.)
