Study of the laser-matter interaction from solid to plasma. Report for the Accreditation to Supervise Researches
Description
In this report for an accreditation to supervise researches (HDR), the author first proposes an overview of his scientific and professional curriculum. In the second part, he presents his scientific activities which notably comprised the development of the Esther code (hydrodynamic modelling of the laser-matter interaction), direct applications of the Esther code (analysis of the opacification of VISAR during a shock coalescence experiment, aluminium characterization experiments under a direct interaction regime and under a confined regime, material spalling experiment), and the development of applications related to laser ablation and shock.
