Internal friction of beryllium bronze at thermocycling under loading
Description
Structure variations occuring in BrB2 beryllium bronze under thermocycling (320↔20 deg C) treatment (TCT) within expansion static stress field (SSF) constituting 0.2 value from yield stress, are studied using internal friction and X-ray structure analysis techniques. Essential effect of TCT within SSF on decomposition of over-saturated α-solid solution of beryllium bronze is shown. 8 refs., 2 figs
